We went on vacation from vacation here and bought clothes and ate pizza.

Hoi an!

Super beach town! Grasslands hotel was so pleasant. With pool and
garden, and delicious banana / chocolate pancakes for brekkie!
The orchids are hanging from a canopy above us in the garden, and
singing caged birds all around as well.

Beach!!!!!!

The north was grey and drizzly and chilly, but it's getting hotter and
hotter as we travel south

Marble mountian caves

We rented a car for the 4ish hour drive from hue to hoi an and stopped
here along to way

Boat tour on the perfum river...

With entertainment.... We realized thus was actually more for the
locals... no English at all, but enjoyed the singing none the less

We thought to citadel was closing

But then these friendly guys showed up. There were elephants too.

Hue is a sassy little town,

a super hotel room with balcony, then caught in the rain on the way
to the citadel and imperial city.

Hanoi sights

Yes that's a real giant turtle, and then we took overnight train to hue.
